Investment For Extra Income

I suggest hubby invest his money into gold market. He could buy gold bullion or gold coin as investment. My friend earning quite good return from gold investment, therefore I am keen to request hubby invest too. Since he has extra money now and I do not think keep those money in bank could help him earn more money. In fact, I also recommend children education plan as investment to him but he says de does not want to tie with those insurance plans because his extra income is not stable yet. So I think investment in gold market would be a good alternative way for him to earn profit now.
