Unique Address Plaques

I saw my new move in neighbor placed three address plaques in front of his house. I am curious why he wants to place so many address plaques there? The only reason I could find is he received those address plaques as gifts from friends or relative, so just hang them all together. Haha.. It looks weird but quite unique too. At least it would give the people who saw it a very deep impression.
