I bought 1kgs Ready make sponge cake flour from them and thinking to try the recipe this weekend. However, they forget to give me the recipe and me forget to request it also. Lucky a friend went to the shop before and she has the recipe. I already got the recipe from her and surely will bake cake this weekend!
I bought this pack of instant Glutinous Rice Ball last week. In fact, I want to wait until the 15th day of Chinese New Year then only cook for my family. However, I could not stop myself to bring it to the office and share with my boss and colleague on the first resume day. We have a small resume work party around 10.30am, just 30 minutes after we reached office.
There are total 10 Glutinous Rice Ball in the pack, and the size are quite big if compare with the homemade Glutinous Rice Ball. Maybe that was deal to the filling in the ball took up more space? :p
Yeap..Forgot to tell I bought the black sesame Glutinous Rice Ball. Hmm..The taste overall is ok..just the size of the Glutinous Rice Ball is a little bit too big, could not finish in one bite. I could took 3 – 4 pieces of it only.

Cake from the Secret Recipe always is my favorite, now they have over 20 types of cake selections for the promotion. I am thinking to get a cake on coming Monday. I want to blog about this before my holiday, but I was too busy on my holiday plan until I totally forgot about it. This was a small celebration party we held in office before Hari Raya Holiday. Every staff brought a disk, it doesn’t matter is homemade or just bought from outside.
I cook Meehoon goreng, then another colleague cook pasta. We also have egg tart and fried chicken. We can’t finish all the food, even though we spent many time for it. We have our party from 12noon – 3pm also can’t finish the food. That was a very relax and early holiday mood for us.
Do you like spam? I know you going to tell me you hate it. Well’, i’m not talking about the high technology spam email, i’m talking about spam food. I’m not sure how other people think about this, but I like it. I know most of the asian like spam food as I do. although I like spam food but I do not eat it everyday, not even once a week. Because I know that spam is not a heathy food.
I think enjoy my favorite food once or twice a month should be OK, hmm…is it? Never mind lah, just let me eat first and die later.

That is my lovely boss, she will cook for us when she is free and whenever she have mood to cook. Today lunch was sweet potato porridge with others dish like salted fish, salted egg, fried dried prawn, fried egg, fish in canned. All is simple dish but very yummy. I am very full now.
What to cook for my daughters and husband always be a difficult task for me. I am appreciated that my husband wasn’t a fussy eater, he eat whatever I cook for him even though the meal is tasteless. Sometimes I feel sorry because I can’t cook as tasty food as my mother can. Have you ever been to the Houston Rodeo? I know that Houston biggest events are the 3 weeks rodeo competition that usually starts from end of February and run through the March. Besides that, Houston Rodeo is a great place to enjoy concerts as well. But, this are not the activities or events that attracting me the most. I only wish to experience Texas-sized outdoor picnic, which hold up to three days of cooking, competition, eating and dancing. I’m wishing to join the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest! Don’t you know that Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is also home to the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest?
I looking forward to see how do the 400 grill teams setup their full mobile kitchen and use their unique cooking techniques to prepare the best and delicious dish in brisket, chicken, and pork spare ribs. I know I cannot have the yummy dish together with the teams directly in their tent. Nevertheless, I can get the Houston Rodeo Tickets and enjoy a barbecue plate with the fixings in the public food tent. Better than nothing, right? I’m planning to join the coming World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest that starts from February 28 to March 1, 2008. Anyone want to enjoy three days sweet smell of smoky too?

A special homemade lunch from my mother. I like to eat this Steamed Yam Cake very much. And I always thinking that Yam cake that my mother cook are much more delicious than what I can buy at outside.
