Use BallPoint Pen To Issue Cheque

Do you know that most of the Banks are recommended to use Ballpoint Pen for cheque issue purpose? I read from somewhere regarding the case of erasable Ink scam, I have wrongly understood that the type of pen to use for issue check for such a long time. I thought gel pen would be the one they required to write in a check, but am WRONG. The best will be Ballpoint Pen that we usually use to write.
Stupid me, I have make a big misunderstood in this case. OK. I will change to ballpoint pen from now onwards. You should starts to use ballpoint instead of ink pen or gel pen too. Bank actually already have a sentences in the caution like below, just they did not mention what kind of pen to use.
For security purpose, cheque should be written in non-erasable ink only.
